Alya is the main character in her titular anime series, Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian. Her real name is Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou and is an honor student with the highest grades in her school. While Alya is the smartest, most popular girl in the school, she has difficulty expression her emotions and can only convey them in Russian.
